January Check-in! Life update.

2018 is in full swing!  This is a quickie blog post because I just wanted to check-in with you guys and let you know how my new year is going so far 😊If you don’t already, make sure you follow me on my Instagram (@jardanizzle and for updates!  I would love to know how your first week of 2018 went 😃

What I’m loving/my highlights so far:

🌟Working full-time from home – comfort and convenience all in one

🌟Seeing the development of my little home gym – currently working on finishing my gym and office transformation Vlog.

🌟Welcoming new clients for the year

🌟This is a random one, but it totally counts – Watching the new re-make of Jumanji << FREAKIN’ HILARIOUS 😍 Go see it, if you haven’t already!!


My main 2018 goals:

👉🏽Expand Rx evolution and create a small, supportive community filled with people who have one thing in common – to better themselves!

👉🏽To continue researching about Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD) and take conscious steps in healing myself.

Steps I’m taking to move me towards my goals:


👣Work, work, workingggg tirelessly on careful and thought-out programming for my beautiful clients and setting them personal, individualised challenges that gets them closer to their goals.

👣Planning future events for Rx Evolution that gets more people involved.


👣As information can be so overwhelming, I’m choosing to focus on a couple of things at a time.  For now it is to hydrate like crazy as spinal discs require plenty of water to stay healthy.  I’m drinking at least 3.5L of fluid everyday (plain water, water with lemon, herbal teas, broths). P.s. I have noticed a BIG difference already, even after 4 days of increasing my water intake! Less pain around my lower back than usual.

👣Doing my best to eat a variety of nutritious food such as bone broth, alkaline smoothies and in turn, limit the amount of processed food I take in.

👣Listening to my body and making sure that I don’t overdo training.  I have to be careful that I don’t put too much stress on my spine (heavy lifting, repetitive jumping, etc) as this can worsen my condition.

👣Avoiding sitting down for too long.  When you sit down, your spine takes on more load and the discs become compressed.  I literally will get up and take a walk after 30 minutes of sitting and working just to give my back a rest.  I’m finding it a really nice relief! (As long as I remember and not get caught up in my work…. like I am right now with this blog lol)

👣YOGGAAA – the amazing Adriene (YouTube channel: Yoga with Adriene) has once again come through with a new 30 day Yoga series which I am participating in. I’m loving dimming the living room lights, switching on my diffuser and using a “restorative” blend of essential oils, rolling out my mat and just taking 30 minutes of the day for ME and doing exercise that is calming and low-intensity for my back, while also relaxing my usually-buzzing and overactive brain.


Those are the things I am focusing on right now.  I’m one of those people that if I have too many things on my plate, then NOTHING gets done and I just end up cranky and confused 😅 So, this year I am trying to keep things simple and straightforward.  Hope everyone has had a great first week in their New year!  💖
